Lately

All of these pictures are from my phone but I want them for my family journal, too!

Christie is learning how to steal my phone and tap all the buttons on it.  She took a picture of her feet the other day and I love it.

We live right near a real farm with donkeys, geese, cows, and barns.  It's very fun for the kids to feed the donkeys and pet them.

 Fall pictures.  Can't resist.

Christie and I spent an afternoon hiking up Sourdough Trail in Bozeman.  We walked barefoot in the river (instantly frozen feet), and picked out our favorite leaf.  I was going to take a picture of our favorite leaf but Christie sent it down the river.  We had fun.  Last week, our temperatures were in the 90s so we were happy to be so warm.

One of our favorite spots in Bozeman is the Museum of the Rockies.  We love it there.

Jason and I celebrated 14 years of marriage on the 16th of this month.  I love this man.

I drive over Middle Creek every day taking the kids to school.  It's so beautiful!

I think it is so adorable how Christie writes her name on her lunch.

And another picture of the kids at the museum.  Sorry things are out of order.

Bittersweet September

We are moving to Tyler, Texas in about a month.  I wanted to share some pictures of beautiful Bozeman before we move.  We're excited to get back to Texas but also sad to leave Bozeman, in some respects.  There are definitely things we won't miss, but generally speaking, it is tough to move anywhere and leave any place.

Lastly, I just want to say that I am grateful to have been pregnant for a little while again.  At six weeks, I lost the pregnancy, my fourth miscarriage.  I am thankful for the chance I've been given to at least attempt to bring more babies into our family.  It hasn't been easy and I am not angry or disappointed.  We tried.  But I am done with trying now and can just enjoy and appreciate the family I do have.  (Which I do!)  I had a really amazing experience during this particular trial, very faith-promoting and testimony-strengthening.  I won't share it here or over the pulpit at church.  But I can tell you that Heavenly Father is so very mindful of us and for that I am feeling so grateful and blessed.

Bittersweet.
