These are the most very important people in my life and I love them all so much.

Since I was practically on my death bed sick on Mother's Day, I wanted to get a photo with my kids.  I love these little dudes so much.

 And what can I say about this handsome man?  Wow.  I can honestly say I am more in love today with Jason than I ever thought I could be.  What a tremendous blessing in my life he is to me.  I am so lucky to be his wife.  Beyond lucky.  Oh, I love him a lot.

We sold our house again.  We sold it once.  Those guys backed out.  Well, we sold it again yesterday.  We got the same price as before, so that's good.  On to what's next.  Whatever that is.  All that matters to me is my husband and my kids.  I can live in any house and in any city as long as I have these people around me.

Webelos Scout

Jacob earned his Webolos badge in cub scouts!  Good job, Jacob!

In the future, I will get a few pictures that are better than these.  Our church cultural hall is so dark.  It's hard to get a nice shot even if you're sitting closer than I was!  Nevertheless -- !!  We're happy for Jacob and excited for his advancement.  He'll be working on his Arrow of Light now.

Watermilk

Christie doesn't quite grasp the concept of the word "or" yet.  So when you ask her if she wants water or milk, she'll say, "Watermilk."  No, Christie, do you want water OR milk?  "Watermilk."  She does this with most choices.  She'll combine it into one.  For breakfast, it's very confusing.  She'll pull down all the boxes of cereal and want you to combine a little bit from each one in her bowl.  This morning she had Mini-Wheats, Honey Nut Cheerios, and Frosted Flakes.  Or in her words, "Minis, O's, Nice Tiger."

The Alamo Field Trip

Downtown San Antonio is such a fun place to be -- from the Riverwalk to the Alamo, there's always something to see and do.  Yesterday I joined Jacob's 4th grade class at the Alamo to chaperone and enjoy one last final school day with Jacob before school's out for the summer.  Plus, we just sold our house this week, so it's official.  We're moving.  I will miss San Antonio.  It is near and dear to my heart.  I am excited for what's next and sad to leave all the same.

 These were the three boys I was in charge of yesterday!  Ha ha -- what a fun bunch.  Andres and Alex are super kids.  Very smart, courteous, and very good at not getting lost!  I was glad to have such a good group of kiddos to watch over.  Jacob has a lot of sweet friends in his class.

 It started to pour rain during our tour.  We were running like crazy trying to find shelter most of the day.  No, I didn't bring an umbrella.  We were all looking like drowned rats by the end of the day.

The final touch was seeing a Hollywood-ish IMAX movie about the Alamo.  Really cool!  And I actually learned something.  I know.  Shocking.

Supermoon

I wanted to add this beautiful picture of the moon to my blog.  My very talented cousin, Scott, took this picture of the "Supermoon" we experienced here on Earth last Saturday night.  I was inspired by its simplicity, and amazed at the same time by its massiveness.  (Is that a word?) 

We didn't get too great of a view Saturday night because we had cloudy and thunderstormy weather.  The thunderstorms here are out of control!  They scare me!  Crazy lightning and insane thunder that feels like it's right on top of your house.  Needless to say, we were awake at 3:00 in the morning waiting for it to pass so we could get back to sleep.

I got up to pee and walked around the house, looking out different windows.  I walked over to the office to unplug my computer so it wouldn't blow up if lightning were to strike.  Well, as I was passing the staircase, a large, dark man figure was coming down the stairs!  I yelled, "Jason!?!?!?!"  Well, actually, I screamed it.  I was so scared.  It was Jason, thankfully, but I wasn't expecting him because I didn't know that while I was in the bathroom, he had gotten up and gone upstairs to unplug the TV.   No lights in the house are on and the lightning is like a strobe light every few seconds.

Oh, I was so mad at him for scaring me like that, even though it was unintentional.  I seriously could not calm my heart that was beating out of my chest a hundred miles an hour.  So it was difficult to get back to sleep.  Jason apologized a dozen times but I was still so mad at him for giving me a literal heart attack!

Slam Dunk Contest

On Saturday we had a family Slam Dunk Contest!  What a blast!

Christie's 2nd Birthday

What a wonderful little girl we have!

Happy Birthday, my dear "Kees-Kees-Anna."

We had such a fun day.  We got donuts in the morning.  I made a white cake with pink sparkles.  We went to McDonald's for lunch and played on the "mee-noun" (playground).  We had cake in the afternoon, got to play on our new slide and, best of all, she got to wear her new horse-y pajamas that Aunt Amy sent her.  All in all, a great birthday!
